We're nearing the three month mark of the release of Brigitte's Cross. I've heard personally from a few folks on their response to the book, and the overwhelming response is that they like Book II better than Book I, overall, as do I. I'm working on some outlines right now for Book III (as yet untitled) and am wondering what readers of the first two would like to see more of in that final book in the series. More romance? More magic? I can assure you there will be some fighting going on, and all of the characters from the first two books (those alive and undead at any rate) will be back for the final book in the trilogy.
I'm also working on Book I of the Garnier family saga (also untitled so far), and I can tell already that it's got a bit of a different flavor to it. I'm excited about both projects.
I've been fortunate to be included in some of Brandi Granett's latest HuffPo pieces:
"6 Pieces of Writing Advice From First-Time Writers over 40" and "Four Great Ways to Find Indie Books You'll Love."
That's about all of the news I have to share right now; I'll be writing like crazy in a week, so this week is all about getting some chapter outlines down so I can just roll.
